Bill Mueller Seminar June 2016.
Saturday June 11 a large group of advanced Dan rank members met in Maplewood to work on Passai Dai and Sho. Sensei Bill Mueller led the seminar with a review of core techniques and waza from Passai Dai. Everyone went through Passai Dai together and then Sensei Mueller stepped out of kata and walked the group through individual techniques derived from the kata. Specific self defense and counter techniques were emphasized that could be broken down into common practice drills were illustrated for the group. At the completion of the formal workout, the group had lunch and completed the event with a review of Okinawan Shuri Te from Sensei Mueller's collective experiences.
